Closed to all trafficNo pedestrians, vehicles or trams may pass.
No entryVehicles may not enter from this direction. It is posted at the exit end of a one-way street.
Maximum speedYou must not drive faster than the speed shown.
Minimum speedYou must not drive slower than the speed shown.
StopStop just before the stop line (or the intersection if there is none) and check it is safe.
Slow downProceed at a speed from which you can stop at once (roughly 10 km/h or less).
No parkingYou may not park, but you may stop, for example to let people in or out.
No parking or stoppingYou may neither park nor stop.
No U-turnYou must not turn round.
No crossing the roadYou may not turn right across the road, for example into premises alongside it.

Falling rocksWarns of falling rocks or landslides. Watch for stones already lying on the shoulder.
Steep descent aheadWarns of a steep downhill ahead. Use engine braking to hold your speed down.
Roadworks aheadWarns that roadworks are in progress ahead.
Other dangerWarns of a danger no other warning sign covers. A supplementary plate may spell out what it is.
Closed to vehiclesNo vehicles may pass — cars, mopeds and light vehicles alike. Pedestrians may still pass.
No overtaking by crossing the centre lineYou must not cross into the right-hand side of the road to overtake. Overtaking without crossing over is still allowed.
Time-limited parking zoneA zone where you may park for the posted time, provided you use the parking meter or ticket machine.
Motor vehicles onlyMarks an expressway or motor-road. Mopeds, light vehicles and pedestrians may not enter.
Reserved lane (buses only)This lane is reserved for route buses and other designated vehicles. Others may not use it except when unavoidable, such as turning.
Bus priority laneRoute buses have priority in this lane. Other vehicles may use it, but must pull out and give way when a bus approaches.
Mopeds: two-stage right turnMopeds must make a two-stage right turn at this intersection.
Mopeds: normal right turnMopeds must not make a two-stage right turn here. Turn right as other vehicles do.
Sound hornYou must sound your horn at the point marked by this sign.
No pedestrian crossingPedestrians must not cross the road at this place.
Stop lineShows where to stop when your vehicle has to stop.
Bicycle crossingShows that this is where bicycles cross the road.
Safety zoneA refuge for people boarding or leaving a tram, and for pedestrians crossing the road.
